Afro Love - Instructions

When you receive your Afro Love products or samples, it's important to know how to correctly use them.

We've listed the instructions of each product on this page.

Afro Love Mint Shampoo

Your Afro will feel the tingle! Stimulates, cleanses and soothes your scalp. Feel the residue being washed away! Leaves your scalp feeling deeply refreshed.

• Mint: Soothes scalp.
• Eucalyptus: Cleans grease deposits.
• Rosemary: Restores hair’s natural shine.

Instructions:
Massage into wet hair, rinse. Repeat as needed.

Note:
A little goes a long way. You don’t need much to get results.

Afro Love Nourishing Shampoo

Nourishing Shampoo hydrates your Afro! This is the shampoo you’ll want to use more often. Gently nourishes and conditions your hair.

• Sunflower Seed Oil: Hydrates and shines hair.
• Chamomile: Soothes scalp.
• Aloe Vera: Nourishes to reduce frizz.

Instructions:
Massage into wet hair, rinse. Repeat as needed.

Note:
A little goes a long way. You don’t need much to get results. 

Afro Love Conditioner

Let your Afro shine like the Caribbean sun! This conditioner was custom made for your Afro! Smells delicious AND detangles, replenishes, and hydrates your hair!

• Raw Honey: Softens and shines.
• Shea Butter: Moisturizes and conditions hair and scalp.
• Avocado Oil: Revitalizes strands in need of repair.
• Olive Oil: Omegas promote softness.

Instructions:
Massage into wet hair, comb through to ensure proper distribution from roots to ends, leave in for 3 to 5 minutes, rinse out.

Note:
A little goes a long way. You don’t need much to get results.

Afro Love Hair Soufflé Cream

The perfect dessert for your Afro! This hair mask is a deep treatment that nourishes and stimulates your beautiful Afro!

• Raw Honey: Softens and shines.
• Shea Butter: Moisturizes and conditions hair.
• Castor Oil: Omegas promote softness.
• Tea Tree Oil: Conditions roots.

Instructions:
Apply to damp hair, comb through to ensure proper distribution from roots to ends. Place a plastic cap over hair and sit under dryer for 10 to 15 minutes or leave in for 35 minutes to 1 hour without heat. Rinse with warm water, followed by cool water.

Note:
This product is a heavy deep treatment that will tangle your hair if you don’t take the following precautions. Make sure you’re applying to damp hair. Sectioning your hair and untangling it before applying the product and then using a comb as you apply from roots to ends will help to avoid tangling. Some people may have better results by using the mask before washing and conditioning hair.

Afro Love Leave-In Smoothie

Take the natural beauty of your Afro for a walk, confident that you walk hand in hand with a product that will always be there for you, protecting you, hydrating your hair and giving it shine.

• Coconut Oil: Intense moisture, controls frizz.
• Shea Butter: Conditions curls.
• Castor Oil: Omegas promote softness.

Instructions:
Apply to damp or dry hair, do not rinse out.

Afro Love Curling Puree

Combing and controlling your Afro is much easier with this styling cream. Your curls come alive with all the nutrients they need to define themselves!

• Coconut Oil: Intense moisture, controls frizz.
• Shea Butter: Conditions curls.
• Aloe Vera: Mends split ends.

Instructions:
Apply to dry or damp hair, do not rinse.

Note:
For best results, section your hair before starting. For volume, start applying on the hair strands from about ½ an inch from the scalp out to the ends, otherwise it will be flat.
