The province announced today that we'll be moving into step 2 two days earlier, which means hair salons can reopen on June 30th. While this is good news, it has created a challenge because this is the third time that the date has been moved by the province. During the original announcement of the reopening plan, Step 2 was supposed to be July 5th.
We appreciate that everyone is anxious to get back into the salons. Everyone’s hair needs some love desperately. Getting everyone’s appointments back on track and rescheduled is going to take some time. And given that Canada Day falls immediately after June 30th we feel it makes more sense to reopen our salon on July 2nd. Our online booking system is taking appointments from July 2nd onwards. We will be happy to assist you by phone starting next Tuesday June 29th and we aim to have all outstanding messages replied to by then as well.
